Rich Medina has been practicing law in the States of New York and New Jersey and the Federal District Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey, for nearly thirty years. Mr. Medina is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Rich was on the defense teams of Bernhard Goetz (1985), John Gotti (1986 - 1987), Congressman Mario Biaggi (1987), Peter Gotti (2004) and numerous other high profile matters.
Rich represents clients in all aspects of Criminal and Civil litigation in the State and Federal courts in the States of New York and New Jersey, including but not limited to Federal R.I.C.O. law; narcotics laws; mail and wire fraud, securities fraud; and Federal Sentencing Guidelines along with all phases of state criminal felony, misdemeanor and disorderly persons matters from arrest through trial and, if necessary, appeal.
Rich also represents clients in Family law/Matrimonial law matters in areas of Divorce, Custody, Visitation Support and Property Distribution. In 2008, in Superior Court Middlesex County, he obtained a matrimonial settlement valued at over five million dollars.
Rich has been a guest lecturer at Long Island University and Bergen Community College.
