HENRY E. RAKOWSKI has been practicing law since 1990. Mr. Rakowski has developed aggressive techniques for the enforcement of money judgments.  Mr. Rakowski concentrates his practice to the preservation of and the enforcement of secured and unsecured creditors’ rights.  He practices in the areas of commercial, corporate and real estate litigation and transactional work.  

Mr. Rakowski is a former Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association Conciliation Committee for the 2006-2008 term, which arbitrates fee disputes between clients and attorneys not governed by Part 137. Mr. Rakowski is an arbitrator for the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Nassau County, Fee Dispute Part, which administers part 137 in Nassau County. 

Mr. Rakowski was a contributing author for the First Edition of the
Wests Publication for the New York Enforcement of Judgments.  Mr.
Rakowski has also published various articles in the Nassau Lawyer and the
Real Estate Weekly on topics of commercial law, commercial real estate and
the enforcement of money judgments.

Mr. Rakowski is the author of the historical fiction, “Unclean Hands”,
which follows the struggle of the grandson of a Holocaust survivor to assure
that the settlement funds set up by the Swiss banking industry for the
survivors of the Holocaust and their families is not diverted by the very evil
that precipitated the Holocaust.

Mr. Rakowski earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management
from the School of Management of the State University of New York in
Binghamton.  Mr. Rakowski earned his Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N.
Cardozo School of law.

Mr. Rakowski is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of
New York and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern
Districts of New York.
