Seth A. Akabas received a B.A., cum laude, from Princeton University and a Masters of Journalism and J.D. degree from Columbia University, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Mr. Akabas was formerly a Law Clerk to Judge David N. Edelstein, U.S. District Court, SDNY, and was associated with the law firms of O’Melveny & Myers and Spengler Carlson Gubar Brodsky & Frischling. He has represented issuers in public and private offerings of securities, buyers and sellers in LBO transactions and mergers, SBIC and other venture capital investors, borrowers and lenders in secured financing, landlords and tenants in leasing, and real estate owners commercial real estate transactions.
