Jesse Greene focuses his practice in the area of corporate law, primarily assisting clients with a variety of agreements related to their initial and on-going business operations including business reorganizations, vendor contracts, business formation, leases, real estate and IP matters. Prior to joining Akabas & Sproule, Jesse practiced transactional and corporate law at Pepper Hamilton LLP and Ropes and Gray LLP where he represented hedge funds, private equity funds and other investment vehicles as well as public companies in various matters including, debt financing, fund formation, broker-dealer compliance, tax advice, intellectual property litigation, securities matters, capital raises, mergers and acquisitions and basic corporate governance.
Jesse has an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law; a JD from Brooklyn Law School where he graduated cum laude and was a Carswell Scholar, a Lark-Barranco Scholar and a Greenfield Stein & Senior Scholar; and a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he participated in research examining the extent to which a person’s native language affects non-linguistic cognition
